Urgent communication on price increase of photovoltaic modules and raw materials
Dear Contributor,
The Chinese government recently announced a reduction in subsidies for renewable energy, with the aim of reorganising the industry. This decision will have a significant impact on the global photovoltaic market, in particular:
- Decreased production capacities in China.
- Increased production costs, leading to higher prices for photovoltaic modules and raw materials.
- Cancellation of the 9% export subsidy for solar energy products and thus further increase.
In the coming days/weeks, we expect a general increase in prices for photovoltaic components.
Therefore, we strongly recommend concluding current orders as soon as possible to try to limit the effects of the increase if possible.
The situation is evolving very quickly and we have already seen the first repercussions on the market today with increases in the cost of wafers, cells and modules.
We remain available to support you in order management and stock optimisation.
